Is Meadowpark Surgery moving?
Meadowpark Surgery is moving to new premises in the Parkhead Hub, 1251 Duke Street, Glasgow G31 5NZ during Autumn/Winter 2024 (date to be confirmed). The Parkhead Hub will offer NHS medical, dental, pharmacy, physiotherapy, phlebotomy and social work services.

Where is the new premises?
The new premises is at 1251 Duke Street which is around 1.5 miles from the surgery at 568 Alexandra Parade.
What if I am housebound?
There should be no effect on housebound patients – any patients physically unable to attend either surgery will continue to receive medical care as clinically indicated.
Are staff at the surgery changing?
No. Our team of staff at the surgery will remain the same.
How do I collect my repeat prescription?
A number of local pharmacies provide a collection service from Meadowpark Surgery and this will remain the same.
How can I get to the new premises by public transport?
A number of bus routes service the new Parkhead Hub. Here is a list of the common ones that patients might use:
Bus Number 60, 60A, 40 and 90 run from Duke Street to Parkhead Hub
Bus Number 2 runs from Glasgow City Centre to Parkhead Hub via Forge Retail Park
Is there parking at Parkhead Hub?
There will be on site parking for patients at the new Parkhead Hub but as with any NHS premises this is likely to be in high demand and we would encourage patients to come by public transport if possible.
