If your problem is very urgent, you can be seen on the same day. Please contact us before 10am. Staff will ask for some details of your problem; this helps the on-call GP choose the most appropriate way and time to see you. The on-call GP may phone you for more information. This is called ‘triage’.
You cannot choose your GP for an emergency appointment.
If your condition is non-urgent, appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance, usually with the GP of your choice. Some doctors have a longer waiting time than others.
If you would like some advice and think your problem could be solved without seeing the GP, please ask for a telephone appointment. The GP will call you back at an agreed time.
Please ensure we have your correct phone number.
